Susan is an experienced administrative assistant with more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry. She spent the majority of her career working for one of the Triangle’s top performing developers, Duke Realty. Her construction knowledge, sound decision-making ability and her willingness to be a team player are major attributes for DCI.
Susan has worked with every aspect of construction from the project start to the completion and close-out process. She has experience providing support to construction managers and coordinating tasks with subcontractors. She is knowledgeable of building permit process, contracts, and organizing/maintaining project files.
At DCI, Susan is responsible for handling the majority of the administrative tasks of the company and keeping everything organized among the team.
Erin brings over 16 years in the commercial construction industry to the DCI team. Her extensive knowledge of development, and project management adds additional depth and capacity to fulfill a vast array of needs for owners and developers alike.
Before joining DCI, Erin was the North America Real Estate Manager at the well-known Lenovo Corporation where she oversaw all capital project implementations, including acquisitions requiring additional space and new strategy implementation. While at Lenovo, Erin mastered the art of leading a team of clients, designers and vendors to complete high end successful projects on time and within budget. She provided oversight and management on projects ranging in size from $50k to $150M. In addition to managing capital budgets, Erin oversaw the Operating Expenses for over 1 million square feet in North America. This expertise will allow Erin to provide insight into how a facility will operate after construction is completed.
Prior to Lenovo, Erin was with Skanska USA. She started her career as a Project Engineer and working her way up to a Senior Project Manager position. During her time there, she oversaw all construction projects for IBM within the Mid Atlantic Region, working closely with the owner to ensure that the project was budgeted, scheduled, and completed as requested. The projects with IBM ranged from office fit outs, new space acquisitions, ADA renovations, high end briefing centers, but mostly technical Tier III Data Center infrastructure modifications and build outs. In addition to the Project Management for this region, Erin was also responsible for quality control and audit requirements for all IBM/Skanska projects across the nation.
As part of the DCI team, Erin will be responsible for preconstruction activities that includes coordinating designs with clients and project team members, working closely with the construction team to ensure schedule and cost requirements are met, facilitating office equipment acquisition and installation and finalizing the close out process to turn over a successful project. Clients can expect superior knowledge and service ensuring that a project will be completed without hidden delays or pitfalls.
Erin is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, with an emphasis on Construction Management.
