Susan is an experienced administrative assistant with more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry. She spent the majority of her career working for one of the Triangle’s top performing developers, Duke Realty. Her construction knowledge, sound decision-making ability and her willingness to be a team player are major attributes for DCI.
Susan has worked with every aspect of construction from the project start to the completion and close-out process. She has experience providing support to construction managers and coordinating tasks with subcontractors. She is knowledgeable of building permit process, contracts, and organizing/maintaining project files.
At DCI, Susan is responsible for handling the majority of the administrative tasks of the company and keeping everything organized among the team.

Leslie is a licensed architect with a master’s in healthcare administration and more than 14 years of experience in healthcare facility planning, programming and design. As a project manager at DCI, she has a unique perspective and critical work experience that add tremendous value to the overall team and to DCI clients.
As a professional architect, Leslie has worked on and led numerous projects within the healthcare industry including facilities at WakeMed, UNC Hospitals, and throughout the Duke Health System. This included master planning, renovation and new construction projects ranging in cost from $500K - $144M.
She is a successful manager and thrives at building and nurturing client relationships through the development and building processes. Leslie also excels at managing key stakeholder relationships and collaborating with groups to exceed project goals and reduce costs through more streamlined processes and practices. She has often served as a project liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services and made presentations to hospital executive boards and leadership.
Leslie is also an experienced speaker, a LEED Accredited professional and a member of the following professional affiliations: American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Board and American College of Healthcare Executives. Leslie graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Architecture and from the University of North Carolina with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She also volunteers as a mentor to help develop and provide guidance to architecture students in college.
