Project Manager

Nick brings a masterful balance of strategy, agility, and flexibility to his construction project management style. Throughout multiple years at the helm of concurrent, multi-million dollar client ventures with NEMA Management, his genuine interpersonal skills, natural leadership, and engaging presentation style immediately gained stakeholder trust and loyalty.

As a Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Nick launched his professional career in the nuclear power field as a structural and mechanical engineering consultant with JD Stevenson & Associates. There, he led the team tasked with analyzing and assessing the integrity of domestic nuclear power plant structural components in the wake of Japan’s 2011 Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster.

He soon took that specialized experience into the realm of construction management with a role at The Beck Group in Durham, North Carolina. Here he honed his multi-tasking proficiency; leading large-scale institutional builds and renovations through every stage of design to completion. All of this while finishing his Master of Engineering Management degree from Duke University.

Later, as he moved into supervisory roles, his hallmark became driving a culture of industry-best safety practices and listening to the needs of his various team members, all while keeping the client’s vision in view. As his responsibilities grew, so did his educational ambitions and he earned his Master of Business Administration with Real Estate Specialization degree from Florida State University.

Nick holds Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, along with his real estate broker’s license in the State of North Carolina. He also takes his construction knowledge “to the grassroots level”, working hands-on for Durham’s Habitat for Humanity during volunteer days, which he strives to organize twice a year.
